SPR-Did anyone watch Bethenny Getting Married last night?

Watching her give birth early made me panic.

I feel the same way she did. I have nothing ready yet except a bassinet. The room has been started yet (contrator is supposed to start next week), no bag packed, no birthing plan expect I know I want lots and lots of drugs & no classes have been taken. Everything is still at my mom's house from the shower. Nothing of Baby K's has been washed. With 37ish days to go I feel like I should have more done.

Just typing everything I still need to do is making me

Am I alone in feeling this way?!?!?!?

See watching her made me feel like I'm more prepared. I've done a lot of the prep work. The worst part of it was watching how long she was waiting before she had the c-section. I am so impatient I know I'll go nuts waiting that long.

I watched it, poor thing with 25hrs of labor and ended up with a C-section.

I love how she could care less of what was being taped though.

It kind of made me feel a little more at ease watching her go from water breaking to getting ready to arriving at the hospital. She was pretty calm for the most part, Jason was hysterical

I took Lamaze and even though most tell me it's a waste, I did it. From what I have watched and speaking to other BTDT Mom's, the nurses at the Hospital walk you through everything also and what to do, etc...

I have 52 days to go I think I have some time to get things done, but it's true you never know when things are going to happen.

It will work itself out though, just do a little at a time. Don't get hung up on getting the clothes ready and other things, all your LO needs is a loving Mommy and a place to come home to

I was totally gonna post about this. Was her baby born early? 4lbs 11oz, sounds so small!

With 27 days to go, I feel the same way. Our nursery is still being used as a storage room. Our basement is under construction (it's been taking forever!) and even though it is not yet completed, I am going to start moving the boxes from the nursery into the basement tonight. Nothing has been washed - everything for my shower is still in its original boxes and unassembled... but luckily I bought diapers and all that fun stuff last week.

The baby is going to sleep in a P&P for the first few months but I have yet to figure out where in our bedroom I can fit it.

The only thing I feel ready about is that we had our car seats installed this weekend. Atleast that's one thing checked off my list!

The good thing is that I don't think anyone is 100% ready when the baby comes. And babies don't need much other than love, attention, food, sleep and lots of diapers in the early months so you will have time to take care of everything at your own pace.... atleast that's what I keep tellign myself! LOL

And did I mention at almost 9 months pregnant I am going for my road test on Monday for my license. Nothing like doing everything last minute.

I watched it last night and it made it nervous. My DH is so laid back, nothing has been done, granted i have 92 days left, but the room needs a new ceiling and the floor redone. Plus we have to do our guest room also, because we will have our parents stay with us.
starting september i hope to be more active with getting things done.
