I use photoshop and Lightroom together...
I don't know anything about the Mac program, sorry

Do you guys know of any websites that are really good with photoshop instructions?
DH knows photoshop like the back of his hand (he has his BFA in Graphic Arts), but for some reason, is a terrible teacher and has no patience for my questions.

Thanks ladies, I was able to get Photoshop CS4 on an educational discount bc DH is getting his MBA so I save A LOT of $$$$

I use photoshop extended and love it. I've been using PS since v. 4, I have never used the others ...so I guess I am not much help

Photoshop Elements if you're just starting to get to know Photoshop.
I use CS4 and Lightroom together now
