SPR... Taking Days off at Work
I don't know why, but I feel guilty requesting off. It's like I cringe when I send the email to my mananager. 
Yes, I'm entitled to the time off, but I still hate it.
Of course I love my days off and deserve them.
Anyone else like this?
Not for all my requests, but just more recent. I came back from being on Maternity leave and I have some vacations planned next year I want to put in.

please.. Im the boss and I feel guilty taking off. especially when Im sick and not John.. I feel like they think im fibbing.. ridiculous actually..

A lot of Americans don't take days off because of this. I have no issues taking off and I don't ever feel guilty. I work hard everyday and I earned the ten days I get a year. No way am I ruining the few days off with feeling guilty.

I used to, but it was more because my previous boss was totally passive agressive about it.
Now I totally don't. I enjoy every second off GUILT free!!

I always feel horribly guilty. Like today. I hate hate HATE making sub plans too. Would much rather work than make a plan for someone else to do my job. (today I made a sub plan and they couldn't even find one for me! ) But then the guilt goes away and I enjoy being home for a change.

I never feel guilty. I've earned the days off, and it's management's job to make sure work continues when I'm out. My family comes before work. I sometimes feel guilty having to go to work, and not be with my family, but never the other way around.
