SPR: Tell me your healthy moring smoothie or shake!!

I don't really have time for breakfast in the morning and especially going back to work I'll need something quick but healthy. With getting DS ready for daycare and myself ready for work...I need something and don't want to resort to bagels and stuff at work.

Anyone make a shake or a smoothie that is healthy for breakfast.

I drink a smoothie every morning! I do 1 cp 2% milk, 1/3 cp greek yogurt, 1 cup blueberries or strawberries, and one very ripe banana. The banana sweetens it so I don't have to add sugar.

• 1 cup of berries (any mix)
• 1/2 banana
• 1/2 soy milk (or any kind of milk)
• 1 scoop any kind of protein powder (or if you don't have protein power add 1 egg white)
• 3/4 cup yogurt (your choice what kind)
• 1 cup ice
It's good and the protein helps fill you!!!!! HTH

i had a dannon smoothie in the fridge for this morning...however...in my morning stupor, I stuck a can of diet pepsi in my bag instead of the smoothie. Chat Icon Chat Icon

I keep frozen berries and peaches in the freezer and mix that or whatever other fruit is around with some low fat milk and yogurt, sometimes OJ. I add a few drops of vanilla, bananna, sometimes even Kale or Spinach. It depends on the day and what I have around. It's a great way to use up over-ripe fruit.

One big cup. It keeps me full until lunch!

I drink a smoothie for bkfst almost every mornat 8am...heathy & hold me over til 1-2pm...
Soy vanilla or choc milk
1 banana
strawberries,blueberries,rasberries(i buy & freeze)
scoop of Greens powder
tsp Flax seed oil
2 ice cubes

lately ive been substituting pomagranate juice for the milk...

if i'm using milk, ill sometimes add a scoop of lw-fat peanutbutter to really fill me!

yoplait makes these frozen smoothie things now. It makes 2 smoothies. I tried the strawberry banana one. Its basically frozen strawberries & bannas..add a cup of milk and blend and presto..yummy smoothie. its all cut up so you dont even have to do the cutting in the morning.

open the bag,throw it in the blender and youre good to go.

I made one yesterday and the blender scared the sh** out of DS.
