St. Charles Hospital photographer
I received a phone call from St. Charles (where I delivered) stating that I am entitled to a free photo of DS. The photographer will come to the house to take the picture at no cost to me. Has anyone done this?

Same here, we told them no thanks. Not only did we not want to pay $$, but I didn't want some stranger in my house, plus, with a newborn's schedule being so unpredictable, I didn't want the stress of worrying if DD was in a good mood when the photog was there.

They just called us too. I told them no thanks.
I didn't want them in my house, and don't want to pay for whatever they are trying to push. Not to mention, they called me and congratulated me on my child who is not even born yet.

Yes the photographers at good sam did this too but I didn't want them coming to my house!! But it was legit....they basically want you to buy mor epics.

We had them come. They said it was a free sitting because the camera was broken when DD was born so we didn't get a newborn pic taken of her in the hospital. It actually turned out to be a nice experience. Luckily when the photographer came Emerson was awake and alert and she got some really, really cute pics of her. They did a whole bunch of nice poses with her. We're waiting on the proofs and we will probably buy a few pics in addition to the free 5X7 but that's it. She showed us some packages while she was here but they were kind of expensive. If nothing else we'll have one nice professional pic of her even if we don't buy anything else.
