St. Patrick's Day lesson?
I teach first grade and am getting observed right before St. Patrick's Day. I wanted to do something creative using either Math or Literature/Writing./ Wondering if anyone had any fun ideas to share?

You could have them create a rainbow with a pot of gold at the end, and in each stripe of the rainbow, they can write a sentence about what they'd like to find at the end of the rainbow.

What skill did you want to teach? Once you have isolated the skill, you can create the lesson....Keeping math in mind, you could do something like "Pot of Gold Math" and incorporate simple word problems (literacy piece)
