I believe the jars say 6 months, that's when I chaged to Stage 2. I just went to the Ped. Friday and they said I can start soft table food now. It was her 9 month appt.

Re: Stage 2 foods and table foods

I started with Stage 2 since we started solids at 6 months old. I'd just use 1/2 the jar at a feeding. Stage 2 is just a bigger jar.

We started soft foods and foods like puffs, cheerios at 8-9 months old.

I was told that stage 2 is just a bigger jar. My doctor has been telling me to try them since we started solids at 4 months.

You can definetely start her on stage 2's. I already started TJ. Table food not until she has a couple of teeth I think unless you mush it up. I tried that with a banana and he didnt like it.

Don't worry about teeth for table food, they gum everything and since the first teeth to come in are usually the bottom 2 and then the top 2, they don't chew with those anyway...
We started with puffs, cheerios, etc around 7 months I think...
Stage 2's are just larger jars of stage 1...
