Stage 3 food and diaper rash?
I have started introducing more textured foods to DS and he's gotten a bad diaper rash. Do you think its is related or no? I've been putting triple paste and its helping but it's been a few days and it has not gone away totally. Has this happened to anyone else's DC?

Eva got like that with peaches, and also got rashes ! She stopped getting rashes when I stopped giving her the peaches

ds gets a rash whenever he has tomato based food, which alot of the stage 3's have tomato paste in them... i think it is because of the acidity of the tomatos

I watch the labels like a hawk. I give nothing with tomato paste. He threw up once from having something with tomato in it so never again....It seemed a little better today but it hasn't gone away yet. For some reason I think its the consistency of the food.

I had the same issue with my ds. Dr. said that when the acidity changes in there mouth that they develop rashes i couldnt put 2 and 2 together. but you wouldnt believe what he had me putting on the rash. I tell you it was soo bad ds would scream and was bleeding at some points. You ready for this.. He said to put MYLANTA.. yes thats right. I put mylanta and a glob of the desitin in the diaper. just poor mylanta on. next morning drastic change. HTH i hope he feels bette
