I know nothing about the area!!! We are not picky...we like just about anything. And budget isn't really too much of an issue.
It will be for lunch and I will have my DS with me who is 16 months, so not a place that is too nice. He's good in a restaurant (he goes to them enough  ) but he is still an active toddler.

Do you mean Stamford CT???
There's Long Ridge Tavern that does brunch.
Crabshell is on the water and is okay for kids. The food is okay.
Downtown Stamford has Capricchio cafe which has yummy paninis and outdoor seating.
Cosi's is an inexpensive option and there are always a ton of kids in there.
