Stanley Steamer

I would like to get my carpets cleaned and was wondering if anyone has ever used them....

The last time we got our carpets done- we used someone MIL rec'd- they did a great job-
but it was over $100 (w/o tip) they only did my living room (which is avg size)
DS room and our bedroom (again nice size rooms but nothing overly large) they didnt move furniture- just complety skipped over areas that they couldnt get too (and we offered to move it ourseleves)

We dont wear shoes in the house- and do not eat anywhere but the kitchen- so over than baby milk/formula stains- the carpets werent a "tough case" or anything...

I mean- dont you think that price was high?

I could be way off- but it seemed it to me...

So yea- stanley steamer anyone? Or any rec'd in the suffolk county area?

I use them every 6 months. They clean my LR, stairs, my BR, hallway, and DS room and the also clean my couches. I "think" I pay an average price of $250. Go to their website and you can customize your package and set up an appt.

Re: Stanley Steamer

They were here in September. They did 2 bedrooms, hall, livingroom and couch and it was just over $200. They were in and out withing 2 hours. They moved all furniture (except the entertainment center). I thought it was great and I will def. see them again in the spring!

Re: Stanley Steamer

I just had my carpets cleaned on Friday. I use The Carpet Cleaning Guy from Holbrook. I had two rooms and a hallway done and had the rugs scotchguarded (I have three dogs). They were here for two hours, moved the furniture and charged $235.00. I've used them before and they do an excellent job.
