staples and tax free

how do I get my name in the system to not pay taxes?

I have just been giving them my school phone number and having them pick someone else from my school to put it under, but I'd like my own name to be in there.

I have the teachers reward card though, but not sure if that makes a difference.

I think you have to bring in the tax exempt from from my school. However, staples never asked me my name. Go figure!
