started clomid last night (CD5)

I was so worried that it would hurt my stomach but i was okay. Would I have felt any side effects on the first pill though? I took it with dinner, do I have to take it EXACTLY the same time every night or will around the same time be okay (within a hour or so either way)

Also, will the clomid make me ovulate sooner, or just make sure I ovulate. My cycles are all over the place, but last month was 35 days and I ovulated CD 23.

I'm not hopeful about it working. My dr. put me on it saying that he's hoping that it will make me release a "new" egg (I have cysts on my ovaries) and one of DH's "guys" can get in there. His SA was fine except his morphology levels were 1%. I'm hoping when we re-do his SA in a few weeks it'll be better.

TIA for any advice you have !!

Clomid never bothered my stomach and if you take it like you said within an hour either way...you'll be fine. Thats what I always did and I responded very well.

As far as ovulating I really think it depends on your body. For me it made me ovulate later but I know plenty of girls who ovulated earlier or right on time with it.

Best of luck to you!!!!Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

I O'd at the same time I normally do. The clomid never bothered my stomach and I took it on empty first thing in the AM.

Good Luck, I hope you get a great egg!!!

I was told to take it at night & I ovulated a little early.

I had enough side effects...but I'm not sure which are due to what. I had nausea (which got better with time), bloating, moodiness & now have bigger breasts (totally not sure what this is due to). Took it at night.

Thanks for your replies. All pills hurt my stomach (advil, tylenol, vitamins) so that's why I was worried about that. I have to take a children's chewable vitamin with an extra folic acid a few hours later, that's how bad it can be !!

I have read sooooo much these past few days about morphology and everything I read makes me believe that we will have to do IVF/ICSI in order to get pregnant Chat Icon Chat Icon I know it's not the end of the world but we're trying to buy a house and I know IVF/ICSI can get Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon if more then one round is needed.
