Starting cereal...any tips?
So we got the go ahead for DD to start cereal. She is 4 months old. Any tips for a first timer? 
She weighed in at 10lbs 11oz and the doctor said she is gaining very well for a preemie.

I'd get both the rice and the oatmeal in case the rice makes her VERY gassy. That was our problem.
I'd also start with breakfast or lunch so you can monitor for allergies or gas reactions.
And try different thickness after she gets the hang of it....Alyson prefered hers on the thick side
