starting food in am and have questions
I am starting my dd on sweet pootatos tom for first time. We have done cereal for a month and she is ready to move on. I chose veggies first.
Sooooo..what do I do.
Warm it? Its the gerber brand in those plastic containers. I think 2.5oz.
Do I give it with cereal. Do I give them on same spoon? Like mixed or separate.

i used the same spoon but never mixed.... we never heated because i didnt want ds to be used to it being heated incase i was out and needed to feed him

I didn't mix them together but I did put them in the same bowl and would take a little of each and give it to my DD. I started with just half of the plastic container and some cereal and recently (at almost 7 months) increased it to 2ozs of food and 1-2ozs of cereal

i typically used to do one and then the ther back and forth... but i always started with the cereal
but i also had a ds who ate 3 jars a meal so i had a whole array of things to go though

I'm starting sweet potatoes tomorrow too!! Am I really supposed to be gving her that AND cereal (oatmeal) in the same meal?
I was thinking we'd do oatmeal in the morning (because I have daycare giving it to her during the week) and start doing the veggie at night so I could feed her that. Never occurred to be doing them together!
