starting out again- maybe

hey all. going to ask for opinions. A little background- I have a 13 month old DB. I was on clomid when i got pregnat withe her, we had been trying for over a year. Saw a RE, did work up, unexplained infertility, age not a factor. second round of clomid worked.
ANYHOW- we have not used birth control since she was born. I got my period back when she was 3 months old. and, i nursed her, weaned abotu 2 months ago. I went to OB today for check up/discuss going back on clomid. He said, his medical opinion- give it another 2-3 months. Due to history, he would recommend only tryng 4 months of so before starting clomid, but you cannot "count" the time I ws nursing. However, if I want to start next month, he has no objection, i just need to be prepared for twins, and he would want me to come in for sonos.
so- woudl you wait or jsut start? i know some people say 2-3 months is nothing, but i kind of have no faith in my body right now, if that makes sense. i dont know- i'm very confused. i mean, if it works right away again and i have twins i could end up with 3 under 2. which i dont htink i would mind, it would jsut be chaos. but what if it doesnt work?
sorry this is so long- i hope its understandable

I would probably give it another 2 months then go back to clomid.

I would probably wait....but if you are ready now, then start the Clomid. You aren't nursing, so there's no risk to your daughter.Chat Icon

Re: starting out again- maybe

Well, I have a few friends who were nursing and got pregnant when their DB was 6mths old. B/C they had problems with the first they started up right away, just like you. But, somehow they got very lucky with #2 (they all have 2 kids all the same age, I guess they will all babysit mine when the stars finally line up for me...LOL). Anyway, as long as no more nursing (like PP said) I would not wait. But, I'm older and time is an issue for me. But, you never know how long this stuff will take. Go with your gut, its always right.
