Staten Island Pre-K
Hi Everyone:
This is my first post on lifamilies and I am hoping you guys can help me.
My daughter is 3 and will be starting Pre-K next September. We currently live in Staten Island in Castleton Corners (near Victory Boulevard and Manor Road). I just moved there about a year ago so I dont have personal knowledge about what schools are better than others and I feel like I am at such a disadvantage.
Can anyone offer any advice or recommendations?
P.S. I called PS 29 and they advised that I should call in February and get an application but the students are chosen through a lottery.

Re: Staten Island Pre-K
Hi, I'm from Staten Island, but I really dont know the schools in that area. I know that St. Theresa's is a good school (its right across from 29). I personally think that the Petrides school is the best on the island, but its very hard to get in there, start calling them now (it goes from Pre-k-high school)

Re: Staten Island Pre-K
Thanks to everyone that takes the time to read this but I went onto the NYC Department of Education website and found all the answers/information I was looking for. I feel a lot better now.
