Staying Team Green the second time around--did you have the willpower?

So DH and I were team green with DD and it was so exciting. I want to do the same this time around but am wondering if second timers found it harder to stay in suspense until the end or was it easier since you were busier with DC #1?

Well I found out with DD and decided when I got pregnant again I would be surprised. Now I'm pregnant and I decided not to find out...even though we are having twins. However right before my last appointment I freaked out and decided we needed to know. I just don't feel prepared....especially with 2 coming. So i broke down and asked the sono tech.....unfortunately she couldn't tell... I'm 26 weeks and its crowded in there that the babies legs were intertwined. So now I think I'm going to have to hold out like it or not. In the end I know I will be glad to have the surprise.

I found out with DS and wasn't going to find out this time around but we go this Thursday and I know I'm going to ask..I have no will power..lol

We were team with DS and team again this pregnancy. I love surprises!

We were team with DD#1 and I LOVED it! It was an awesome, fun, exciting experience. We totally planned on doing it again with DD#2. However, it took us forever to have #2 and DD#1 was 7 and SHE really wanted to know ASAP!. I figured that it would make the HUGE transition a lot easier for her. So I caved and found out when I had my amnio at 17 weeks. It was a good desicion for her sake.I would have loved to not know again.

We were team both times..i have to say the 2nd time around it was a little harder for me to not find out, but i am glad that we held

We're team green for the third time around....it is a little harder this time for some reason, but nothing that would make us want to find out...I just keep on thinking to that moment in the delivery room....2 of the best moments in my life happened in the delivery room when I found out what my boys were

First Congrats!! I haven't been on in a bit and missed your announcement!

I am team green for #3 now. 2nd time it was much harder than the first for me. I was very curious and like 10 people I knew were pregnant at the same time and most found out the sex. I was happy that I didn't though. #3 was real hard too. DH and I went back and forth until 2 days before the sono. I realized I'd only be finding out for practical reasons (which are helpful and wold help right about now with a lot and even save us some money and a lot of time later on) and not for emotional - so we eventually realized we enjoyed not finding out and we should keep with the tradition. But having 2 boys already - I must say I am more than curious if I will be having to figure out a girl or not.

We were team with DS, and I want to stay team but DH wants to know. He said he wants to know bc if its a then mb I won't go crazy shopping all at once

I'm not budging though...with DS I needed to be put under during my c-section so I never heard "Its a boy!" so I feel cheated so I want to hear that at least once.

I originally was on Team with DS but DH really wanted to know so we found out. It is weird to say but I felt like I really missed out by finding out last time. I have always wanted that moment in the delivery room where you find out if it is a boy or girl. So this time I told DH we are not finding out. It has been really hard but it makes me even more excited for April!
