which one would u choose?

I love Ben Benson's in NYC, Ruth's Chris and Mortons.
I would go to Ben Bensons, it is amazing! The quality of the food is better than Mortons and Ruth's chris and they are damn good! It is pricey, but worth every penny.

Honestly I LOVE this place!
Jimmy Hayes -Island Park
With your dinner (steak) you get a salad and side of potatoes. Not an a la carte type of restaurant.
Oh and the food is REAL Good!!

as much as i an not into mortons the chain, the one on LI is fantastic - and they do the best vodka olive martinis
be prepared for:
$30-40 entrees
$10-20 appetizers
and $12-17 drinks
2 filets, 4 drinks, 2 tomato onion appetizers and a shared dessert will cost you with tax and tip about
$200

I suggest either Peter Luger or Uncle Jack's (in Bayside). Both are pricey but the food is amazing.

I love Nick & Maggie's. We went there for our anniv a couple of weeks ago. We got the porterhouse steak for 2 with the port wine sauce on the side. It was EXCELLENT!!! I love that sauce. We also got calamari to start which was so tender & light.
Morton's is really good too. We like Burton & Doyle's better though. You won't be disappointed with any of them though.

I love Nick and Maggies and eat there every once in a while, but I don't eat steak. It's one of the reasons I like it, because there is more than one or 2 things for me to choose from. I have loved everything I have ever eaten there.
I don't know if it is in the same league as Ruth Chris or Peter Luger, though, if you are a steak lover.

IMHO, Peter Luger's is not as good as it's said to be.
I really love Keen's on 36th(?) and Broadway. best steak I ever had, but they are on the expensive side. But, what steak house isn't?
I've also heard that Uncle Jacks in Bayside is good, but I've never been there myself.

Went to Mortons twice and didn't have a good experience there either time. The staff was not suited for waiting tables, the food was ok (plus they sent out a souffle that had sunk!!!).
Haven't been to the other two places you mentioned. HTH
