Stephen Sondheim fans
I just got to be part of a live online chat with Stephen Sondheim. SO COOL.
Apparently Roundabout is going to have a revival of MERRILY and another major production will soon be made into a movie with big stars, but he wouldn't give more detail!

I am beyond jealous AND excited. I've been an obsessive Sondheim fan (and, oddly enough, a Merrily fan) since I was five years old. That is SO COOL!

oooooh I friggin' LOVE Merrily!!! That's the show that really turned me into a huge Sondheim fan. I knew his musicals, but once I did that show in college, I really discovered his brilliance and became obsessed.
Yeeaa I'm so excited a revival is coming!!
My one dream though, is that they would film the current Sunday revival. To me that is the most PERFECT thing I have ever seen on a stage.
How'd you get involved in that chat? That is soo cool!
