Stephenie Meyer comments on Midnight Sun
She posted on her website yesterday about how upset she is that the first 12 chapters were leaked. It looks like we may never get to hear Edward's complete story now.

I was just about to post this. I have to say that selfishly, yeah, of COURSE I want her to finish it ASAP. But... I feel terrible for her. I can't blame her for not being in the right frame of mind right now to want to go back to it. I wouldn't be surprised if she DID change her mind after some sort of outpouring of support, but right now... if I were her... I'd feel violated, too. It's really awful that someone did this to her.

I really hope she changes her mind and finishes the book. I do feel bad for her that she feels so violated but I hope she can look past that and write the book for all of her devoted fans.

I really hope she decides to put this out. I read the first chapter that she had put out on her official website and it was quite interesting. I was talking to a friend about the book and she had said herself that the book would have been better had it been told from Edwards' perspective instead of Bellas'.

Am I the only one that is ****** at her too.
I mean cmon, sh!t happens. Take some time and then decide...but to make a million fans depressed by saying its on hold indefintly. I dont like that ONE bit.

I agree. I mean, why the hell would she give out copies of her unfinished work? She didn't think this may happen? And so what? Everyone is looking forward to it...suck it up and finish for your fans
