I buy it an make it with sticky teriyaki chicken...its a firm favorite in my house!
You have have to buy Glutinous Rice, soak it in water for 24 hours, and drain it. Then wrap it up in a muslin or a piece of cheesecloth and steam it for like 30/40 minutes. I love it! Its easy and pretty difficult to screw up! I also make great sushi rice, which I love too. I bloody love rice.

Sticky Rice is made by using Sushi Rice..which is a Short Grain Rice..most large supermarkets carry sushi rice now. If it's not in the RICE section it might be in the international food isle...most packages will have a recipe on it..It's fairly simple to prepare...The one item that you might not have in your pantry is rice wine vinegar but other that it calls for basic ingrediants...

Do you mean Thai Sticky Rice or Japanese Sushi type rice???? They are two completely different things. If you mean the rice that you get in bamboo steamers, its the kind I am talking about. If you mean the kind that goes into sushi, thats Japanese Sushi rice. Different things.
