Still Spotting . . . ugh

So I posted yesterday that I had stopped my progesterone suppositories last Thursday and yesterday had a tiny bit of spotting. Well it's continued, still nothing crazy but it's happening.

Waiting for dr to call me back. You would think they would check my levels after stopping the suppositores to make sure my body is producing enough progesterone on its own. I brought one with me to work in case the dr tells me to continue.

Has anyone dealt with this before? What is the longest anyone took these for? and any idea what causes the body not to produce progesterone on its own.

how far along are you? i am 12 w 1 day and i took my last dose of progesterone at 11 w 4 days... (doc told me to stop at 11 weeks but i took a few extra just in case) so far i have not seen spotting but def ask your doc to get your levels checked, you may need to be on them for a bit longer. I also don't know why they don't check levels after asking you to stop just in case, but all we can do is trust that the docs know what they're saying! good luck!

I'm exactly 11 weeks today. Last week I was taking them every other day . . . I was fine up until yesterday afternoon . . . this sucks
