Still waiting for contracts from Seller
Why is it taking so long!!! They got them on the 10th! I have my appraisal done all my bank needs is the contracts, my Title should be in this week.... I want to close ASAP so DH can do the bath & kitchen before he goes back to work in Sept.. Sorry to vent I am just frustrated

that's taking a lot longer than it should. has your attorney or broker called to find out whats going on?

If they received them on the 10th then I would ask your attorney to call the seller's attorney and find out what the delay is if he does not receive them tomorrow. If they did not receive them on the 10th but they were sent on the 10th then it is possible that they are in the mail or that between the seller and their attorney they were not able to coordinate a day to meet as of yet or met yesterday or today.
I hope they come back soon.
I am surprised the bank did an appraisal without a contract and did so much of the process. Seems like you are on your way once you get the contracts come back.

I waited 2 weeks to get contracts back from the seller and got to the point of threatening to back out of the deal if I didn't get them. I would def. call the agent and express your unhappiness.

That was 7 days ago. Honestly that's not a long time at all, especially if they are going through the mail.

That's what I was going to say.
It wouldn't hurt to have your attorney call the seller's attorney to see what the status is.
We waited awhile for the contracts on our house to come from the seller's attorney and he just hadn't gotten around to sending them to our lawyer (their lawyer was a bit of a flake).
ETA: We wanted to get everything done quickly since DH was on his scheduled vacation as well - unfortunately - we didn't close until the end of his vacation so we didn't get as much done as we wanted to and lived without a kitchen for awhile.
