stitches
how long should stiches be in for?
i had a biopsy done on a raised freckle on my back and they had to do 2 stiches (only time i have ever had stitches in my life... ) and they said to come back in 2 weeks to remove them.. seems like a long time...
anyone have any past experience with stitches?

Re: stitches
A friend of mine had sliced her finger on a piece of glass and had 11 stitches in her finger. She had the bandages and stitches on for about 2 weeks as well.

Re: stitches
When I had a skin thing removed, I was told the same thing...2 weeks. I think 10 days would have been long enough.

Re: stitches
I had something removed on my leg yeterday - luck girl you only had 2 stiches I have about 7 and it is in the crease in your leg (underware line) so it is really uncomfortable to sit down.
I was told two weeks - when I go to get those out I have to have another thing taken off my arm and I was told 2 weeks as well.
