stoller question for moms...
Im trying to decide between the metrolite and the graco quatro.
Any opinions. I know the quatro holds more weight, so can be used longer. Any advice???

The graco quattro is bulkier and heavier the metrolite is muck lighter.

I had the quattro and hated it! I bought a pliko P3 to use instead.

Re: stoller question for moms...
I like my quatro for our walks outside, fairs, and the mall when it's NOT crowded. I feel like the bulk is better for that, and definitely more comfortable for DS. It reclines all the way if he wants to nap!
We also have the chicco umbrella stoller. I use that for when we are "running errands" if the stores don't have a cart for DS.
But, all in all I use the quatro stroller much, much more. It has the big bin below and can carry a large diaper bag with no problem.
Before I had a minivan the quatro was alot harder to lift out of the car and that's why I got the umbrella stroller. But, now that I do have the minivan it's a pinch to get it out. And in the end I like it better.

Thanks so much for the reply.... I though it was more comfortable as well for day trips. I'll also get the snap and go for when baby is still young.

I have the quattro tour and love it, but if I had to do it over again I would have opted for the metrolite, it's much lighter and has the same great features.

For those that have the quatro... i see it comes with the safeseat instead of snugrider... so does that mean it wont fit on the snap and go frame??

Re: stoller question for moms...
I have the Graco Quattro and I love it! Its easy to fold down, goes right into my car easily since the front wheels move when its closed. I dont feel that its too heavy, even though I know alot of people feel that way!

Re: stoller question for moms...
I test drove the Quatro. It was too heavy and bulky for me. I could not see myself carrying it in my trunk.
I like the Metrolite better but it did not recline completely flat so I got another Graco stroller. That was one of my requirements for strollers.

Re: stoller question for moms...
I have the Quattro and I like it for walks. I love the basket underneath. iT holds so much. But I bought the Peg Perego Pliko because I found it very difficult lift the quattro in and out of my trunk (It is so heavy) and it took up the whole trunk (I have a Maxima.) I use the Peg Perego most of the time now. I don't know anything about the Metrolite.
ETA: My Peg Perego reclines fully also. That was a big requirement for me. DD has napped ALOT in her strollers.
