Stomach problems (maybe TMI~but whatever)
After getting married 4 years ago..I slowly stopped eating red meat. I would say it's been about 2 years with no red meat...with the exception of hamburgers. Now if I ever eat meat (at my mother's or out at dinner), I'm in the bathroom immediately. I will have very painful stomach cramps too. Is this something I should be alarmed about or is it common?

Yes...forget Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner...whenever it's a big meal, it was good while it lasted....
My father seems to think I should go to the doctor for this...

that hpapens when i eat bad food like fast food or whatnot
your body is not used to it and all of a sudder you are giving it stuff that it has not processed for a long time
i wouldnt be alarmed if its only from eating the meat

I'm the same way. I eat really simple unprocessed foods every day. If I have anything heavy or fast food I get so sick from it!

kaka attack!
Stef, DH is like this also. He's never seen a doctor about this.... It only happens when he eats pork (except for pepperoni and hot dogs).

Totally normal. My friend has been a vegetarian for like 10 years and she cant go near red meat or she is sick for days.

Completely normal. I'm a vegetarian and if there's the tiniest bit of meat in my food (some people think they can out one ov er on me), like if I go to a diner and they cook my omelette on the same grill as bacon I will know because I will be in the bathroom, violently sick, in minutes.

Re: Stomach problems (maybe TMI~but whatever)
My DH & I are both sensitive to things like this.
We tend to eat very healthy during the week & if we eat anything out of the ordinary on the weekends, we spent a lot of time in the bathroom! My system can not tolerate fast food or fried items
I would not be alarmed.

Stef, I'm the same way...whenever I eat steak or burgers, I'm in the bathroom right away, cause I hardly eat it so I guess my stomach was like what the hell was that?--lol
I also get VERY sick before I have to go, I get hot flashes before I have to go too--lol I'm a mess!!!
