stomach virus of death!

It hit me like a ton of bricks Sunday night. I got a little better (comparatively speaking) on Monday, but it is now Wednesday morning, and I SILL feel woozy and not like myself (no appetite whatsoever, weak, tired...). Has anyone else had the bug going around? Did it knock you out for a few days? I was really hoping to be feeling better by now... I am getting so frustrated. I'd love to know how long the effects lasted for anyone else who had this.

ETA: I am being a big baby about this b/c i'm on vacation in FL with DH. We got here Sunday, about an hour before I got sick. And since then, i've basically been unable to do ANYthing - go out to dinner, etc!! I am very bummed

i had it a few weeks ago. its going around big time!

i was only physically sick for a day(if you know what i mean), but i couldnt really eat for a while. i didnt feel myself until a week later. eat a little bit at a time of easily digestible foods and stay hydrated! feel better. im sorry this is ruining your vaca

I had it really bad the first day, the second day I felt awful but was at least able to get out of bed, and for about 3 days after that I was hungry one minute and naseous the next. It's about a week later and I finally feel like my normal self.

I swear I thought I was dying -- it was awful. And on top of it I thought I would have lost about 5 pounds but I lost only 2. Totally not worth lol. Feel better!!

I had a mild case in January - I was sick for one day and not quite myself for 2 more days.

My poor office mate was sick for 5 days and even ended up in the hospital because of dehyration.

I hope you feel better soon.

YES exactly the same for me... Sunday night as well.

I was puking the ENTIRE night, every half hour, I must have thrown up 20 times..... I feel like I ripped up my insides & the whites of my eyes are still red from burst blood vessels from the force of it all, ugh it was awful! I thought I was going to dehydrate. And I had really bad diarrhea too I fell asleep twice at work on Monday & then I slept 12 hours Monday night. I still can't really eat normally yet. Caught the virus from DH, he had it Friday night, but it didn't hit him as hard. It was the worst 24-hour bug I've ever had.
