Stomach virus while preggo...
so my DD has had this awful stomach bug that's been going around and it seems that I am I getting it.
Is there any danger with having a stomach virus and being 19 weeks preggo?
I can't believe I may have to hospitalize my DD tomorrow morning and I'm going not going to be able to be with her.

I had it 2 weeks ago... severe vomiting and fever for 24 hours. I had to go to the ER for fluids b/c the dr. said it is very dangerous to be so dehydrated. Try to stay hydrated if you get it... everything I drank came right up so that is why they had me go in. After I got those fluids I felt so much better though.

keep hydrated now while you are still well so you can handle it better if you get it. Maybe you wont. Wow I cant believe how bad this is going around. Hang in there. Its hard when little ones are so sick

I just had a virus this past weekend. I slept and downed water as much as possible. If you are unable to keep water down or if you start to run a high fever, then call your doctor

I had it a few months ago and couldn't keep anything down for 2 days straight. Doctor just told me to make sure i stay hydrated, drink TONS of fluids (even if you get sick afterwards) and to stay in bed and rest as much as possible. And if you do get a fever - CALL THE DR!!!!!
