stomach virus while pregnant
so i think i caught an awful stomach virus
it started tues night, i was throwing up,
so i called in sick to work for wed, then the diarrhea started really bad every 25 min or so, pure liquid, (sorry tmi)
i went to my ob/gyn i had an appt anyway he said its okay keep drinking water and if it continues take an over the counter anti diahrea medicine.
its better today but still a little
my question is i feel and hear major rumbling in my upper stomach which is what worries me the most, has anyone ever experienced this, and i've lost about 6 pounds, oh yeah and i 33wks preg

I had the nasty stomach virus about 6 weeks ago I'd say, so I was 24 weeks along or so. It was a horrible 24 hours, but thankfully I was fine and so was baby.
I barely drank anything for an entire day, and didn't eat either. But slowly, as the sickness subsided, I was able to nibble toast and have some water here and there...and within a day or two I was feeling almost back to normal.
Feel better, I know it's horrible.

I had a stomach virus in the first trimester and it was awful... diahreaa just like your talking about.. it got so bad my OB told me to go to the ER...
I had to get IV with fluids, etc.. felt much better after that.

he said if it keeps up call and they would give me the iv of fluids i'm really hoping it just goes away

I just got over a stomach virus, I tried to drink lots of water, I also had pain high in my belly which was strange bc I never had that before. I had it about 2 days , and now I can't poop 
I was 31 weeks when I had it

i had it at 33 weeks and was in the hospital over night from dehydration that led to contractions. be sure to stay hydrated. have those pedialyte pops to help.

I had the worst stomach virus when I was 6 weeks. I ended up going to the ER for fluids It was terrible!!!!

I had a stomach virus with this pregnancy - I was 9 weeks. It was horrible... I vomited from 10 pm till 7 pm, then passed out and hit my head on the bathroom floor. It was short, but intense. I ended up in the ER for 2 bags of IV fluids since I couldn't keep anything down. The IV helped soooooo much...but it did take me a week to really feel better. I lost about 5 pounds, but my midwife said it was ok.
