stopped talking ... due to crawling?
Sydney was saying a few words, mama, dada, ball and hasn't said them in at least a week. Could it be that she is more focused on motor activities like crawling and walking and the fine motor skills like talking are taking a back seat? I shouldn't be worried right?

Re: stopped talking ... due to crawling?
yes - DS spoke his first word first and then learned to crawl and walk. We didn't get anything new until he perfected walking.
From what I have read this is very normal. They are concentrating so much on moving that they are not thinking about language. Most articles say that it all evens out
