storage unit help
so we came across a great deal for a couch/love seat/ottoman set but aren't ready to move into a place that it would fit yet. We cannot store it where we are...is there any inexpensive storage places where we can keep it for a few months until we're ready to move? Spending more than say $50/month probably wouldn't make the sale worth it. We live in Nassau but I'd be willing to get a unit in suffolk or queens if it means a cheaper unit.
all ideas welcome...

I actually called this place last year because I work near there and I was considering getting a unit. I think their cheapest one was about $100 a month and I am not sure you would find one much cheaper than that (I called a few places.)

Re: storage unit help
You can get a 5x5 at Public Storage in RVC for 55 a month. I just looked it up on their site. www.publicstorage.com They are one of the more expensive places, so I'm sure you can find cheaper.

Re: storage unit help
i'm way out east but i know this month the storage place had a special 'rent one month, get the next 2 months free'. maybe see if anyone has any offers like that or will match offers (I can see if there's a website if you need it). HTH!

There's another one in Hempstead called United Storall I think... I used them briefly, but they jerked me around with price and some other issues so I left them for storage america. Ron there is the sweetest... I'll FM you my name, tell him I sent you maybe he can work something out for ya. I can't promise but it's worth a shot...
