storing potatoes
Where do you store fresh potatoes? I have them in a bin below onions and they don't last that long. I've read to store in a cool/dark place, but I don't have a basement and I've got radiant heating in the floor. The garage is my DH's workshop, so they can't go in there. What do you do?

I store them in the basement.
If I didn't have one I'd keep them in a paper bag in a bottom bin in the fridge.
