Straigtening hair

I am attempting to let y hair grow out. It is almost there but in order for it to look good I have to use the hot iron on it dairly. Is there anything else I can do to keep it straight for a few days? I have heard that there is a spray I used use before I blow out my hair. Does anyone know what this spray is?

ALSo , how bad is it to use the hot iron everyday? Thanks so much

Re: Straigtening hair

My hair isn't really curly (not sure if yours is) but I find using Rusk's Str8 keeps my hair pretty smooth and straight for a few days when I use it.

I'm pretty sure it's not so good for your hair to flat iron it every day. Can you get away with shampooing it every other day and giving your hair a day of rest from the heat?

to keep it smooth, try aveda anti-humecant pomade. Kiehl's also has a great product - it's a white cream but i can't remember what its called.

if you're up for something long lasting, consider japanese straightening.
