Strange stomach virus....anyone else?
I say "strange" because we aren't vomiting (thank goodness, had that two months ago) but DH and I are just miserable. And he NEVER EVER gets sick! This bug just doesn't want to leave. I'm dehydrating despite Gatorade and I'm getting a little worried.
I just wanted to know if anyone else had this and how long it was going to take to run it's course.

Are you sure it is the stomach virus? have you seen the doctor? How long have you had it - something like norwalk virus - gives stomach problems - for anywhere from I think 2 days to a week.
But if you have had symptoms for a while you might just want to see the dr to make sure it isn't something like ecoli or salmonella.
Although the last time I had the stomach flu (3 years ago) I was REALLY sick and threw up for almost a week then took another 4 days until I felt right - so I was out of commission for almost 2 weeks.

I've never heard of the Norwalk Virus. We never had vomiting but severe belly issues x 3 days. I think we are possibly on the mend ::::knock on wood::::. I don't think it's salmonella or e-coli because I am pretty sure we would have been vomiting, no?
