It would be innappropriate for them to rub your belly if you were NOT pregnant. Having a baby isn't license to grope under any circumstances. My response:

That was my least favorite part of pregnancy. HATED it.
I didn't even like when people I knew did it. Made me really uncomfortable.

No.......it drives me INSANE!! Especially early on when I had no belly. I don't know why people feel the need to touch you. So weird!!!

Not PG yet, but I always ask first. For instance, there's a teacher at my school that I'm not REALLY close with, but I asked her first if I could touch.
AND, I don't ask perfect strangers--I'll just admire from afar.

Ya know just a few inches higher and the "stranger" belly rub becomes an assault punishable by law. It is simply not acceptable to me. I don't get it.

Wish I had an actual t=shirt like this when i was preggers. When i brought my lil girl home this lady had the ordacidy to try to pick up the receiving blanket to see her, a TOTAL stranger!! trying to touch a new born, she was almost slapped across the elevator.
