I was able to swab it myself at the doctors office in the bathroom....very easy and painless

Um, not for me!! One hole only here. 
It was like a cotton swab - rather quick and painless.

They don't go in like a pap though, just just swab the outside lower part of your vagina and the outside of your rectum. It takes 2 seconds and it does around 34-36 weeks.

It was a swab like a pap but I it was only in one area. I had it done at my 34 week appointment incase I went early this PG.
If you test postive they give you antibiotics durning labor and that is really all I know about it.
