Re: stroller advice
I have the PLIKO and a graco quattro tour, but my sil has the metrolite.
IMO, you can't compare the two, I think they are 2 totally different strollers. ONly the same is their weight, they both weigh 18-19 lbs.
Metrolite Better on rougher terrain Reclines totally flat More parent goodies-like cupholder, bigger basket Bigger wheels than Pliko so you can take it on grass, rough pavement Does not fold up that compactly
PLiko Folds up really compactly No parent tray Does not recline totally flat-My DD couldn't use it til she was 5-6 months old and has really good head/neck control More padded than metrolite Looks nicer does awesome on smooth terrain and it sooo easy to manuever in tight spaces
I absolutely love all my strollers but they do have their different uses. I use my graco solely for walks and when i am doing lots of mall shopping-like xmas.
I use my pliko for everything else.
It's really personal decision, both are good strollers, it just depends what you will be primarily using it for and how much money you want to spend.
I had the stroller frame and my graco in the beginning then picked up the PLiko cause the graco got too cumbersome for short errands and took up too much space in my trunk.
Happy shopping!

That's a gorgeous stroller! I wanted one of those too, but for us it just wasn't practical for the $$$
When i was little my mom had one of those that converted to a regular stroller, but I lived in queens til i was 2 and my mom walked everywhere!
Enjoy!

That's very nice-could easily turn it into a family heirloom.
My mom still has my stroller, you could still use the pram after some cleaning, but the base rusted
The pliko is def less cumbersome stroller, and if you are going from the stroller frame to that, you prob would be more happier with the pliko. I know i was, going from my stroller frame to the graco drove me NUTS!

Re: stroller advice
yea the pliko looks nice, comparable to the zippy but the zippy does not have a snap in car seat, you need to buckle it in...

Re: stroller advice
Love my Pliko over my Graco Quattro Tour. I think Peg Perego is just a better brand in general. It's like comparing an American car to a foreign car...very different.

Re: stroller advice
I sent DH to BBB to get me the metrolite and he came home with the Pliko because "it was pink." I love it. My friend has the Metrolite and doesn't complain about it. The only thing I don't like about the Pliko is that the basket underneath is small and difficult to get things into. My favorite thing about the Pliko is that the harness detaches from the seat back so DD can move around but still be secure.

Re: stroller advice
I forgot - the Pliko is very easy to clean. The cover just unsnaps and I throw it in the machine on gentle and hang to dry (it dries quickly too).
