Stroller experience

Please post yours!

I have the Bugaboo Frog, the Maclaren and now we bought the Chicco Trevi for my mom since she watches DS 3 days a week.

I don't drive much so the Bugaboo is great for running errands, going to the park, beach, hiking, etc. and the Maclaren is great for public transportation, but if I could do it all over again I would get the Peg Perego Pliko 3...what a great stroller! And it has everything that I was looking for in a stroller...but whats done is done.

I LOVE LOVE my BumbleRide QueenB carriage and my Maclaren stroller. My mom has the Maxi Cosi at her house for Ella and I love it as well.

I have a Bugaboo Frog, which was retired when my son turned one, imo the seat is too small for a toddler, he can't climb up into the bug (and he loved climbing into his pushchair) and it was a pain to put in and out of the car. It was great when I was on mat leave, and I was walking everywhere, but not so much now.

Now we use a Maclaren Techno and I bloody love the thing, its super hard wearing, easy to drive, the kid loves to climb in and out, its fantastic. Its so easy to get in the car, I rate it highly.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that noticed this but I also feel like the Bug is not going to serve us for very long...DS is a big boy and I think he will not be as comfortable in it eventually.

Re: Stroller experience

I had the Graco Metro like when I used the infant carrier. Now I mainly use my MacLaren. DH and I are super tall and it seems to be the only stroller designed for tall people. I keep hearing rave reviews about the Pilko P3 on this board, so when I decide to have another kid, perhaps we will invest. I will need another MacLaren...we are killing it!

Re: Stroller experience

We have a Graco Metrolite for everyday use. It's comfortable for him and easy to push around. We have an umbrella stroller in DH's car and I have a BOB Revolution for running with him.

I started with the Metrolite - it was great and then got the BOB which is a dream!

I have a Metrolite and it has been my one and only stroller for 15+ months, but it is starting to get tired since we have travelled a lot with it and there is an issue with the tire.

I am looking to get the Wendy Bellissmo stroller, I think.

Re: Stroller experience

I started with the snap and go...served its purpose...then I was using and still do the Graco Quatro. Its "ok"..I wouldnt go that route again, its a big too heavy. But its great b.c of the bar in front for snacks etc ....and I use it for long days or the beach etc.

I also have the Wendy Bellissmo stroller...lightweight, folds up and NEVER tips over. That was my winning point for it over the Maclaren is that with my stuffed heavy diaper bag on the back of it, it never tips over like the Maclarens do.

I LOVE my Peg perego pliko P3. I also have the Graco Quattro. I like it for long walks in the city, but it's too big & bulky for in & out of the car.

Re: Stroller experience

We had Bagaboo frog and I sold it about a month ago.The seat is just wayyy too small for an older baby or the baby who is on a bigger size. and it's such a pain to put it in the car and it's just too heavy, plus when toddlers get strong enough they can pull themselves up.
We also had metrolite and I just gave it to my friend who is pregnant , but I loooooved it.
I wanted to have just one stroller for the car, for walks , for everyday use, one that was light , easy to fold and easy to push so I bought a Comby Helio DX 2008 to have as a main stroller and I HAAATE IT(even though it got great reviews and people love it) .
Going to keep it and take it with us to our vacation and when we come back then I am going to buy Maclaren.
I should have just bought the Maclaren after I got rid of all the other strollers .
If I could do it all over again. I would buy a snap and go and then buy a Maclaren.

Re: Stroller experience

BumbleRide -- LOVE it!!!!! love everything ab out it. BUT, it is bulky. I think the new ones are smaller...I know the wheels are and I think they used a smaller frame. Good for walks and DS naps in it every day at my moms house.

Maclaren Triumph -- Love it! great for errands. we leave it in the car.

Maclaren Volo -- for my mom's car. It's OK.

BOB Revolution -- Love it for jogging. Again, it's bulky but well worth it!!

I use and like all of the strollers.
