I don't have it... yet. If you are talking about the vista, I'm absolutely in love with it. It has really high ratings across the board. I also love the bassinet which can be used as a sleeper and it has the option of a rumble seat just in case you have more than one!

Re: Stroller help! Uppa Baby?
We have it!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it! We ordered through the factory store up in MA, so ours didn't come with the bassinet, but I didn't mind parting with that piece because I wasn't planning on using it anyway. We bought the car seat adapter to use with the frame until LO can sit in the regular stroller seat.

Re: Stroller help! Uppa Baby?
This the stroller we are registering for. I love it!!
But did anyone else find it a little hard to figure out how to close the first time? or was it just me? I worry that it will still be tricky to close and that my parents will not be able to figure it out without me showing them a few times?

You should have seen me at the store - it took me a dozen times to get the hang of closing it!!! But once we got ours, it was a cinch.

Whew thank goodness! My husband got it in a few seconds and sort of looked at me like I was being ridiculous. I just could not get the hang of the motion, haha.

Re: Stroller help! Uppa Baby?
LOVE it! i would recommend the carseat adaptor for whatever infant seat you have. the bassinett is great while they are tiny but once they get nosey (around 2-3 months) the toddler seat is a liiiiitttttllle big yet
for me, the basket underneath is one of the best features. its HUGE! rides very smooth, very comfortable and folds in half even with the toddler seat attached!
great customer service with uppa baby also!

Re: Stroller help! Uppa Baby?
I was seriously torn between this stroller and the City Select. Just on Saturday I decided on the Select for a few reasons...I spoke with someone at buy buy Baby that had a significant amount of knowledge for both strollers. One major thing he didn't like about the Uppa is the plastic lock, plastic cup holder and it isn't as sturdy as the City Select (more metal, less plastic with the Select). He also mentioned which I knew already that the rumble seat can only be in one position...down low on the stroller and facing the back of the other seat. Most toddlers do not like that they want to face out. The Select there are many options for seat positions. With all this said we wound up with the Select and not because of price because I did a break down of the accessories that are included in the Uppa and the accessories that I bought for the Select and it wound up being around the same price! PS I'm very happy with my decision but can see why you want the Uppa!! Good luck

we were torn also. i dont recall but does the select have the bassinet option? (does it come standard?)
i took DS at 7 weeks old to try out the strollers. DS was a big boy, probably 13lbs at that point. he was WAY too small for the select. they dont recommend putting infants less than 6 months in the select.
this was the main reason we went with the uppa and im so happy we did. believe me, I was DIE HARD for the Select when we went to look but happy with my decision overall

then you should be all set! at 6.5 months, we still use the infant seat and adaptor for quick trips. im going to mourn when i have to return the "snap and go" option of this stroller.

Re: Stroller help! Uppa Baby?
I definitely am registering for this stroller. I was in BBB not too long ago (way ahead of myself bc I am only 9.5 weeks) and I had an associate giving me the full tutorial on how to open/close, change the seats, bassinet use, etc. I this stroller.
Edited to say - I also compared it to the City Select which was my other choice. Both are supposed to be great strollers, but overall, the Uppa is lighter and the Select is more for urban use, or people who need the double seats. It's very bulky though. The Uppa comes with the bassinet standard and I don't think the Select does. Also, the Uppa has a rumble seat that can be added on if need be in the future.

Re: Stroller help! Uppa Baby?
I really want the G-Luxe since we have a snap & go that can be used until the baby can sit in it. But we'll see. It's not something I feel like I really need immediately, so I'm not rushing out to buy a stroller now.

Re: Stroller help! Uppa Baby?
When I registered I was back and forth between the Uppa Baby Vista, City Select and the Britax B-Ready.
They all seem to be the same kind of stroller with pros and cons of each.
I finally decided on the City Select because of all the different positions that you can put and you can also put two bassinets or two car seats on there as well. I think its one of the only strollers that can do so. Also the second seat is identical to the first seat and holds the same weight limit as oppose to other strollers second seating. The handbrake is up near the handle. I was sad about the color choices for the city select since it only came in diamond white, red and black. I registered for it so I haven't used it yet to tell you if its a great stroller or not. It does not come with the bassinet , that is separate.
The Uppa Baby Vista looks great too. They come in a variety of trendy colors and to me it looks smaller (the city select seemed wider) that the City Select and seemed lighter. Also the Uppa Baby comes with the bassinet and I believe the mosquito netting as well. it has the second rumble seat but i think the weight limit is less that the original seat and can only be used low in the back. But overall I think the Uppa Baby Vista is still a great choice...
Why don't you check out the Britax B Ready.?It might confuse you and make your decision harder but it seems pretty similiar to the Uppa Baby Vista.
Everyone has their own opinions about strollers. So I would just go with what you want and what suits your needs. Think about what is important for a stroller for you. good luck with your decision

Re: Stroller help! Uppa Baby?
I love love love my Uppa and I have the 2009 and the 2010 has the all of the modiifications that i would have wanted. It is so easy to push and I push it alot considering my son is spoiled and gets rocked to sleep in it. But it is great to manuever with one hand in and out of stores. Love the car seat adaptor and bassinet. Even though I did not use the bassinet that much, but I still loved it. enjoy if you get it!!
