stroller question - really embarrassed to ask...
We just began our registery and put the duo stroller that is a snap n go for the infant seats by Graco. They just upgraded it so the timing is good and we registered for the infant seat that goes with it, along with extra bases. Anyway, my stupid question is when they outgrow the infant seats, do they go right in the stroller without an infant seat or is the stroller of no use after that? And are there other strollers we should get in addition to the duoglider?
I know, really stupid questions, but we are rookies over here!!
I'm attaching a photo of the stroller, hope it posts correctly.
Thanks. Image Attachment(s):

Yes - when they outgrow the infant seat - they go right into the stroller seat - at least thats why I did. This is the only stroller i used.
And remember...... there are NO stupid questions.

Re: stroller question - really embarrassed to ask...
Just curious b/c my Graco is a bit different, how does an infant carrier snap into the front seat?
They can go right in the stroller w/out the carrier once they have neck control.
I also like having a side-by-side and a jogger - you might want to throw one of those on there too, depending on how much you think you may need them.
Have fun registering!

The guy in the store showed me - somehow, it snaps in via something (cupholders??) on the stroller? I know I sound like a complete idiot, but all I know is I confirmed with two different stores that this model accepts snap n go for both seats!!
I plan on getting a jogger later on - I am a runner, so that will be a necessity. Just not sure which one and I think I will just get that later on when they are old enough to be in one.

Re: stroller question - really embarrassed to ask...
I have seen that stroller on display with the infant seats on it. I personally LOVE the front to back and I too love to take the boys for walks on the streets and the duoglider is GREAT for that, plus I LOVE it in the malls.

Re: stroller question - really embarrassed to ask...
Okay I have three strollers - yes three.
I had the snap n go double frame. It's light and easy and the seats go right in. I used it for the first 6 months the boys were in their infants seats. IrishTracy got me into it and it was a great decision! I think it's like $99.
I also got the Graco Duoglider (which you could also snap the infant seats in, but I didn't). It is pretty heavy and I can't imagine how hard it would be to push with the two infant car seats in it. I use it now to go to stores (side by sides are impossible to bring into certain stores). I also use it if we are heading out somewhere.
I also got a side by side jogging stroller. Great for walks around the neighborhood and for going to parties when they were not walking. They love it as well.
Right now i am contemplating getting a lightweight side by side one. The boys are not big fans of the Graco (one has to be in the back and can't see that much, plus they kick the front seat). Plus it is so heavy to carry around, but they are walking now so I might nix the idea.
Hope this helps.

Re: stroller question - really embarrassed to ask...
We have the duoglider. My boys were in the carriers for like 9 months and we would use them in the duoglider.
At about 5 months I would put them in the stroller but for some stupid reason my duoglider didn't have a 5 point harness, so in most they can go in earlier. I believe the newer ones have it.
When they were 16 months old and still not walking we got 2 single lightweight strollers for Disney and we wind up using them more so then anything else when it is the 2 of us, which is more often then not.
I do regret not getting the snap and go though, but I thought it would be a waste since most kids I knew were out of the carriers after 4 months, I didn't factor my boys being peanuts, LOL.

Re: stroller question - really embarrassed to ask...
I registered for the Snap and Go and a side by side City Mini Double Stroller. I'm petite and could not manage the front to back strollers. Buy Buy Baby had the city mini on display and I had read some great reviews. They let me take it out of the store to test it out in different stores. It fit through all doorways and even the bathrooms!
