Stroller Strides Fitness Program
Hi girls,
Thought some of you may be interested in this. The woman who runs this is from my business networking group. The grand opening is scheduled for July 25th. Some of us should meet up for it.

I met the founder, Lisa Druxman last week when they aired a segment about Stroller Strides on the Today show. DD and I were both on the show as well!
I personally think you all can do the squats on your own! It's just less embarassing with a group of other moms. :-P

I used to go to the Stroller Strides classes here in Princeton, NJ and I loved it! Unfortunately the franchise owners here didn't want to do it anymore so the classes ended. I really miss it! It actually was a surprisingly good work out! I really noticed a difference in my body. I made a lot of friends through the class too. I have to say though that a lot depends on the instructor. I sometimes went to classes at a different location with a different instructor and it wasn't as challenging.

I also did Stroller Mamas, they have a bunch of locations all over Nassau & Suffolk now.
The owners are really sweet, started the company on their own...

People pay to walk around with other mother's and their strollers? It seems silly to me. I can do that for free at the park

Nah, these women are serious. I saw a group of Stroller Mamas when I was taking pictures in Heckscher Park. It seemed like a bunch of moms sharing the cost of a personal trainer. Leg lifts, aerobics, etc.
The moms had very young babies to toddlers. I thought it looked like a great way of socializing & getting in shape at the same time. When I looked it up months ago, it seemed most classes were during the week. If I was a SAHM, I would absolutely do it.
