Students arrested for oral sex in classroom
JACKSONVILLE, FL -- Three First Coast students are facing criminal charges after a teacher says they were involved in oral sex in the classroom.
Christopher Lemay, 18, is accused of paying a 16-year-old-girl to perform the act on another boy at Sandalwood High. Those two are under-age, so First Coast News is not releasing their identities.
Sandalwood administrators say the act happened under a table in a large class full of students, so the teacher had limited visibility.
The news is catching even veteran educators by surprise.
"It is not indicative of any school in Duval County," said Acting Principal Jack Shanklin.
"I've been in education a long time and I have never seen a situation like this in any educational setting," he said.
All three students have been assigned to alternative schools.

OMG! One of my colleagues busted one of his students (8th grader) masterbating in class and I thought THAT was outrageous!

How old is 8th grade? 13/14ish?

To answer your other question, yes, 8th grade is usually 13-14.
I know when it happened to my co-worker, he had been doing the lesson and then began to circulate, and that was when he caught the kid, who was at the very back of the room. My school has always been overcrowded, I am sure there were over 30 kids in the room.
When I teach, I inist on making my kids sit up straight and I also walk around constantly, even when doing the lesson. Fortunately I tend to be mostly on the lookout for spitballs and note-passing. I am all over the place and frankly, if you teach middle/high school you really need to do be.

honestly... it doesn't suprise me.
My brother's friends sister was suspsended for getting fingered during a movie.
One of the Middle School's DH works had reports of Oral Sex parties.
Heck, I had 2 girls in my 5th grade classroom who were accusing each other of sleeping with this other 5th grade boy in my class.
I swear, kids are growing up way too fast.
