Stuffed animal do you wash before giving to baby?
My DH thinks im nuts b/c im washing everything.. I got toys from the babyshower, and some are stuffed animals or part stuffed animal and part teething toy.. Did you wash them??
My family and friends say im a germaphob and say "poor child, shes going to be in a bubble"... lol im just paranoid. Im in the medical field what can i say.
okay i gues im the only freak lol.

I don't think you're crazy. Think of the germs that got on it sitting in a dirty warehouse, or being touched by people in a store. You wash underwear before you put it on, why woudn't you wash a toy before you put it near a baby's face?
Ignore them, it's your baby, you can do whatever you want.

I don't think you're crazy. Think of the germs that got on it sitting in a dirty warehouse, or being touched by people in a store. You wash underwear before you put it on, why woudn't you wash a toy before you put it near a baby's face?

if its a reg. stuffed animal with no electronics -- I put in a pillow case and put in washing machine and hang dry.. If it has electronics i have no clue.. someone at work told me to spray lysol in the air and swing the doll into the air and then put in plastic bag until im ready to use it .

I don't know why he teases you...same thing with bathingsuits..they make you wear underwear to try them on...but still...you don't know whose worn it/tried it on. ick!
