Stupid Q? Can I use BBB coupons at BRU?

I thought I read somewhere that I can use Bed Bath & Beyond 20% coupon at Babies R Us? Is this true?

Last time I tried, BRU does NOT take BBB coupons, but BBB does take competitor coupons. HTH

buy buy baby takes coupons from bed bath and beyond - but NOT expired ones. They also will only accept their OWN coupons for clothing.

There is also a rule about furniture - but i can never remember it.

BRU only takes their own coupons or manufacturers' coupons.

You can only use Bed Bath & Beyond coupons at Buy Buy Baby. They are owned by the same people. You CAN NOT use Bed Bath & Beyond coupons at BRU. But you CAN use Buy Buy Baby coupons at BRU.

I used a Buy Buy Baby coupon at BRU in November. They said that as long as both stores sell the exact item you are buying. I went to the customer service desk, not the regular register. The girl there looked up my item online at BBB. Since it was there she gave me the 20% off & took the BBB coupon from me.

I just got another BBB coupon yesterday & I plan to use it at BRU tomorrow.

I think it just depends on the cashier/manager. My sister was in BBB the other day and was able to use expired BB&B coupons. I was in BRU on Christmas Eve and they would not take my BBB coupon.

I have used BRU and Baby Depot coupons in BBB before.
