Stupid question about washing bedding
I have to wash the bumper before it goes into the crib, right? Sorry if this is a stupid question. i am already sleep deprived and DS is not even here yet!

Re: Stupid question about washing bedding
good question, I wonder the same thing. I was thinking baby doesn't actually touch the bumper (since it has to be taken out once they can roll) so maybe not? we'll see what others say

And again...I never took my bumper out. DS is 17 months and has always had them in.

Me too! DS likes to curl up in the corner of his crib and use it as a pillow.

I did wash the bumpers b/f putting them in - I also wash them now. DS is 13 mos and I still have them in.

Re: Stupid question about washing bedding
DS always had his bumpers in. Otherwise he would ram his head into the bars, he rolls around so much. we never washed them....

Re: Stupid question about washing bedding
I washed them before putting them in and now I wash them every so often. DS ends up rolling around and sleeping close to them some nights so I wash them.

Re: Stupid question about washing bedding
I never washed the bumpers, but I just kept them in the crib for show when my DS was in his bassinet. As soon as I put him in the crib at 3.5 months I took the bumpers out.

I didn't wash the bumber before putting it in but did wash it many times after, especially after bad stomach viruses!

Re: Stupid question about washing bedding
The only thing I washed were the sheets. After she vomited on the bumper, I washed that. I'm not neurotic though and never wash her clothes before she wears them, etc. Never had a problem

Re: Stupid question about washing bedding
I've never washed Marron's. They have lots of lace and detail that I never wanted to ruin. I just shake them out when I change her sheets.
