Stupid question: How to use formula coupons/checks - UPDATE: THANK YOU jambalady!!!!
so the Enfamil checks arent really coupons.. so how do you use them? Can you combine them? It doesnt say you 'can't' on the check themselves. Just says the value must be higher than the amount of the check. So if I have 2- $5.00 why can't I use them on one can??
Wondered if any of you have tried this.
TIA
sorry for my ignorance but every penny counts!
UPDATE:
BJ's Farmingdale/110 said no to more than one Target Farmingdale/110 said no to more than one, actually read the top of the 'check' where it says "USE AS COUPON" !!! Walmart Farmingdale/110 said no to more than one
CVS in Huntington Station New York Ave/Pulaski let me!!!
Since I had a CVS card the cans were on sale from $28 to $22 and then I had $22 in coupon/checks so I got two cans for the price of one and STILL less than if I bought two generic brand from target! ($15 each)
so THANK YOU jambalady!!!

Re: Stupid question: How to use formula coupons/checks
I believe it's one check per can (that's how I always did it), but I could be wrong.

Re: Stupid question: How to use formula coupons/checks
Technically you are only supposed to use one per can/bottle.
But it depends where you are.
For example, at CVS, they will take multiple coupons so long as they don't exceed the price of the formula.
BRU will only let you use one per can/bottle and you have to have ID matching the name on the check.

Technically, you are right.
BUT I've used up to 5 on a can, you just have to pay SOMETHING for the can of formula (like Gentlease was like $25.65 at Target and I'd use 5 and pay .65 for it)
But it depends on the store and sometimes the clerk even. I'd get certain clerks at Target (where I primarily bought formula) who'd give me a hard time and some who did not.

Re: Stupid question: How to use formula coupons/checks
One thing that annoys me is that I got asked for ID at BRU so many times. I signed my mom up so she used to get the coupons and give them to me. A few times they wouldnt let me use them!

Re: Stupid question: How to use formula coupons/checks
Checks are different than coupons.
What I would do is buy a 6-bottle case of formula with a bunch of coupons (6 coupons) and as many checks as I had (up to 6) (they were in my name, my moms name, my cousins name). If anyone gave me an issue I would talk to the manager. It's not like they aren't going to get paid ANYWAY from the manufacturer so I always fought it if needed and won.

It depends on the CVS and the BRU. The BRU in massapequa has taken multiple checks on the same can many times from me. I also got told I was unable to use multiple at a CVS.
My motto is try it it can't hurt. If I get denied I just use it the next time.

ITA!! Target usually lets me use more than one.

Re: Stupid question: How to use formula coupons/checks
I didn't know you could use more than one check. I have so many as my mom and mil signed up too.
Good to know. Thanks!

Re: Stupid question: How to use formula coupons/checks
I didn't know you could use more than one also and I saw this yesterday went to BJ's and used 2 on 1 can. Was planning to buy more cans of formula but BJs were out and there was one left.

Re: Stupid question: How to use formula coupons/checks
BRU- Commack let me use multiple checks PLUS coupons.
As long as the name matches on all the checks you are good.

Re: Stupid question: How to use formula coupons/checks - UPDATE: THANK YOU jambalady!!!!
Target (in Lake Grove) lets you use as many Enfamil checks as you want in one purchase. It doesn't say on the checks you can't combine with other offers or coupons. I bought formula the other day and used 6 at one time!! It was awesome.......$30 off in one purchase!!!
