Successes...and failures...

We tried the cereal last night - with a spoon...and my little chubber ate it up like a champ!! It didn't help him sleep any more, but he loved it so I'm happy!

We tried to transition to the crib last night... I lasted an hour. He fussed and fussed and the kept wanting the stupid binky (which he spits out and doesn't need in our bedChat Icon ) and I was SO tired that I caved and brought him in bed - did I mention I was trying to sleep in his room? So, we'll try again tonight...

Oh, and the Huggies Overnights? FailuresChat Icon

aww Danielle...sorry the crib didn't go so well. The more you try - the easier it will get (on both of you!)

Talia tends to pee a lot at night - I have been using baby dry (pampers) at night and they have been a lot better than the swaddlers (I use those during the day)

Awwww... I guess that means if Joseph is taking quite well to the cereal then it's about time to start serving it to Alex, right? Considering they seem to do everything at the same time Chat Icon

We're having some of the same crib issues... for a while there she was terribly congested so we let her sleep in her swing, which seemed to help because it kept her upright. So, last night was my first attempt to put her back in the crib. I was up at 12am, 3am, 5am, 7am Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon I was so tempted to just put her back in teh swing so we could both get a good night sleep, but I hung on... of course, when it was hubby's turn to take over at 7am, his patience lasted all of 2 minutes before he plopped her back in her swing and she was sleeping soundly as I stepped out the door Chat Icon We'll see if tonight gets any better!

AWWWW, I am surprised the Huggies didnt work, maybe Ryan was older when we started. Silly question but are you pointing his penis down when you put the diaper on?

Re: Successes...and failures...

A friend of mine had the same problem with her son.

She tried "double bagging" him and it worked! She would put a disposable on him, then a cloth diaper over that one with the rubber underpants.

Could maybe his penis be popping back up in the middle of the night too? My baby cousin used to get baby erections at night making diaper changes interesting since the diaper wouldn't go on tight enough.
