Suffolk County girls??
I was wondering how many of us are from Suffolk County (I'm in the Islip area). I know there was a previous post about a get together more towards Queens, but I'd like to see if anyone is interested in doing one out here??

I've never done/been to a GTG before, so I'm not sure how this works. Do we pick a restaurant and day/time convenient for everyone? I also noticed some of us have dogs...would anyone be interested in meeting at a dog park??

I have dogs but I couldn't bring them, I don't have the park license for them yet, the one is just getting neutered this week, one is too skiddish for it. The other would be ok, but I need the license first.
How about a dinner first? Maybe something in the middle of Suffolk County..maybe something round exit 56 or 57? There is a Dave & Buster's at 57 in Islandia right by the LIE..

Isn't it funny that the CF girls are picking a place to go where there would be lots of kids?
DH and I do goto Dave and Busters, but after 9PM when it is 'supposedly' adults only.

I'd be in for a GTG but I'm not down for Dave and Busters.
We're all grown ups, we could go out to a bar. There are plenty in Huntington has a ton of options.

I agree with the PP who said no to D&B...not my scene!
Why not Huntington? Or Patchogue or Bay Shore or Port Jeff...lots of bars

I'm not a drinker, but I wouldn't mind a gtg at a bar. I'm not too familiar with Port Jeff or Huntington, but I've heard there's lots of great places in both towns. Has anyone ever been to The Melting Pot in Farmingdale?

I agree. I don't know many good bars since that's not really my thing, but what about a place like Toast in Port Jeff, Milk and Sugar in Bay Shore, or The Melting Pot in Farmingdale?
