Suffolk hotels

I'm coming LI this coming weekend, for a christening - in the Nesconset area - the ride up there is close to 4 hours, and Alex will torture me so if I drive up that day, so I'm thinking of getting a room and driivng up while she's asleep the night before.

Any recs for a good, affordable hotel? I'm so out of touch with LI these days.

Re: Suffolk hotels

The Marriot courtyard on th eLIE at exit 60 is nice.
That's the only one up here I have actually stayed in- and they have a breakfast.

Ur. Didn't even think about that. I guess worse case scenario I can drive up to my mom's in East Hampton, but the traffic to and from would be unbearable Chat Icon

The Radisson & Hampton Inn in Holtsville are both nice. So is the Marriot Courtyard which I believe is in Ronkonkoma.

Re: Suffolk hotels

Holiday Inn Express Stony Brook on Rt. 347 might be the closest for you (471-8000)
Then there is...
Holiday Inn Express Hauppauge, exit 56(348-1400)
Holday Inn Ronkonkoma, Vets Hwy MacArthur Airport (585-9500)
Marriott Courtyard, LIE exit 60 (612-5000)
Hilton Garden Inn, Vets Highway
LaQuinta, off Vets Hwy right outside MacArthur Airport

Always ask for discounts! Try AAA, Government, or anything else you can think of! Chat Icon

FM me if you need help, I worked at a hotel for 7 years, so I know the ins and outs Chat Icon

p.s. Yes, VERY big wedding weekend so it might be a little harder - always try Expedia, Priceline, Hotels.com, etc.

My favorite in that area is the Marriott Islandia at exit 58 off the LIE!

Re: Suffolk hotels

Use hotwire and get the 3.5 star hotel in Hauppauge. It is the Hyatt Wind Watch. SUPER nice place and through Hotwire you can get it for about 70per night.

Re: Suffolk hotels

There is a Sheraton in Hauppage off the LIE at around exit 53 I think. There is also a Hilton on 110.
