Suffolk Residents (Mastic/Shirley, etc.)..Mosquito spraying starts today...

We attempted on Sunday to go down to Smith Point Beach to take a lovely walk on the beach. As we approached the underpass, two people started trucking towards us and said "Don't go there...there's literally thousands of mosquitos". We thought they were exaggerating and headed on. Not more than two seconds later, two more people came running at us, saying the same thing. We decided to heed their warning and before we knew it, we were literally covered in mosquitos. It was like out of a freakin' horror movie "The Swarm". We hustled to the car (not without suffering like 15 bites a piece) and we sat helpless as countless others came running from the beach, arms flailing. It was horrible!

Finally Suffolk is doing something..literally you can't walk out of your house in these areas without being attacked.

My ILs live in Bellport and we were there on Sunday. DH and I are covered in mosquito bites.
I'm out on the north fork and live on the water and don't see mosquitos for the most part- it's been ok out here... go figure.... hopefully the spraying will work.

They have been freakin horrible over here!
My DD and my DH are allergic to bites and they are covered in welts, and we spray our own yard.

The problem with the spraying, is they never spray by my house
